Busy Leadership vs. Systems Leadership: The Shift That Changes Everything #247
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Busy leadership can look productive, but it often keeps a school dependent on the leader rather than strong enough to run smoothly without them. Systems leadership shifts the focus from constant reaction to intentional design, building routines and structures that help the whole organization work better together.
In this episode, you’ll hear the difference between staying busy and leading with systems, why strong leaders move from heroic control to collaboration, and how shared routines and rituals can strengthen consistency and reduce dependency. You’ll also be challenged to identify one area of your leadership that needs a better process so you can move from firefighting to forward movement.
